About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead the global training team and cultivate a high-performing team culture
  • Understand training needs from global stakeholders
  • Assess the existing training program
  • Build the training university for ASCO, AVENTICS, AFAG, AGI, TopWorx, and TESCOM brands across world areas
  • Ensure excellent course content is developed for existing and new products and industries with Segment Marketing and Product Management
  • Roll out and maintain the global training calendar
  • Run training courses through training managers and subject matter experts
  • Equip internal employees and sales channel partners to sell, support, and service Emerson products

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Instructional Design, Learning & Development, Organizational Development, Business, Engineering, or a related discipline required
  • Minimum of 5 years of related experience in education, learning and development, technical training, sales enablement, and/or product training
  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States
  • No current or future work authorization sponsorship required
  • Team leadership experience preferred
  • Advanced degree in a related discipline preferred
  • Experience supporting sales, marketing, product management, technical, or commercial functions within a manufacturing, industrial, engineering, or technology-focused organization preferred
  • Demonstrated success leading multi-functional learning initiatives preferred
  • Experience managing learning, learning technologies, vendor partners, and large-scale development programs globally and at scale preferred
