About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead development and maintenance of integrated project plans, schedules, milestones, and risk-management activities
  • Coordinate cross-functional execution across software engineering, hardware engineering, operations, compliance, quality, and business teams
  • Facilitate project meetings, establish agendas, drive decisions, and ensure completion of action items
  • Lead milestone readiness reviews and align stakeholders on requirements, deliverables, and project objectives
  • Monitor project scope, schedule, costs, and resources; identify variances and drive corrective actions
  • Identify risks, dependencies, constraints, and potential delivery challenges
  • Develop mitigation strategies and escalation plans with stakeholders
  • Analyze project workstreams to uncover bottlenecks and coordinate resolution activities
  • Lead recovery planning for unexpected events while maintaining customer and business priorities
  • Conduct root-cause analyses and ensure effective corrective actions
  • Deliver project communications, status updates, and executive reports
  • Build alignment across functions, organizational levels, and global teams
  • Support timely, informed stakeholder decision-making
  • Facilitate project retrospectives and apply lessons learned
  • Champion New Product Development processes, tools, templates, and best practices
  • Improve project execution, organizational effectiveness, and product-development outcomes
  • Promote consistency and continuous improvement across project management practices

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience leading technical projects within the test and measurement industry, electronics industry, or a related technology environment
  • Demonstrated success leading cross-functional teams through structured project execution
  • Proficiency with project management tools such as Azure DevOps, Microsoft Project, Jira, or equivalent platforms
  • Strong communication, planning, organizational, analytical, and stakeholder-management skills
  • Experience working within matrixed organizations and collaborating across global teams
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining focus on quality, schedule, and customer needs
  • PMP certification or an equivalent project management credential is preferred
  • Experience leading integrated hardware, software, and firmware product-development programs is preferred
  • Knowledge of Agile, Hybrid Agile, Lean Product Development, or related methodologies is preferred
  • Experience driving process improvements within new product development environments is preferred
  • Familiarity with procurement and project-funding processes, including purchase orders (POs) and appropriation/acquisition requests (ARs), is preferred
  • Experience supporting technical product development from concept through commercialization is preferred
  • Experience with NI products and Semiconductor software domain is preferred
