About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide strategic HR partnership to the Test & Measurement business group supporting the Global Sales & Marketing organization
  • Partner with the Vice President of APAC Sales and APAC Sales leadership team to translate business priorities into people strategies
  • Develop and implement people strategies supporting business goals, customer needs, and sustainable growth
  • Provide guidance on workforce planning, organizational design, talent management, leadership effectiveness, employee engagement, and organizational capability
  • Translate business strategies and workforce needs into actionable talent and organizational plans
  • Advise and support leaders through organizational change, transformation, business integration, restructuring, and growth initiatives
  • Create effective organizational structures and strengthen team performance
  • Use workforce data, organizational insights, and business context to inform recommendations and decisions
  • Lead talent reviews and succession planning and contribute to leadership development activities
  • Strengthen talent pipelines and organizational capabilities
  • Coach leaders on performance, team effectiveness, talent development, and people-related decisions
  • Support employee engagement, inclusion, development, and retention initiatives
  • Collaborate with global HR Business Partners and regional HR teams
  • Provide APAC perspectives in global discussions and adapt global programs to regional and local needs
  • Build trusted relationships across functions, countries, cultures, and stakeholder groups
  • Connect APAC business leaders with the broader Emerson organization to promote alignment, knowledge sharing, and partnership

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Organizational Development, or a related field
  • Significant HR Business Partner experience supporting business leaders in complex organizations
  • Experience partnering with senior leaders, including Director, Senior Director, and Vice President-level stakeholders
  • Experience supporting organizations across multiple countries and cultures within the Asia-Pacific region
  • Demonstrated expertise in workforce planning, organizational design, talent management, leadership development, and change management
  • Strong business acumen and ability to connect people strategies to business outcomes
  • Experience working within a matrixed, multinational environment
  • Excellent consulting, relationship-building, communication, and influencing skills
  • Ability to travel approximately 10-15% based on business needs
