About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Initiate and execute strategic supply chain projects for Emerson leadership, including the COO
- Lead and support initiatives focused on digital transformation, Industrial IoT, and operational modernization
- Analyze global supply chain trends, risks, and opportunities to inform strategic decisions
- Identify and evaluate sourcing strategies, supplier partnerships, and network optimization opportunities
- Support strategic planning through prioritization, communication, implementation, and reporting
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive alignment and execution of supply chain strategies
- Complete a second rotation in an Emerson business unit aligned with skills, aspirations, and interests
- Lead initiatives that align with business goals, drive operational excellence, and support Emerson's global supply chain strategy
Requirements
What you’ll need- Completion of a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree prior to the first day of employment
- One to three years of relevant professional experience
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- Must not require work authorization sponsorship now or in the future
- Bachelor's degree in a STEM-designated field preferred, including engineering, computer science, and closely related technical disciplines
- Demonstrated leadership potential
- Ambition to take on complex and challenging problems
- Curiosity to learn and build a professional network
- Ability to acquire data from multiple and diverse sources when solving problems
- Ability to anticipate future trends and implications accurately
- Effective communication in one-on-one, small-group, large-group, and diverse settings
