  • Complete forms, grant applications, and program-related correspondence
  • Prepare charts and graphs for reports and presentations
  • Create and edit scientific, programmatic, and departmental reports
  • Schedule meetings and manage logistics for meetings and special events
  • Prepare materials for meetings and special events
  • Initiate, process, and maintain records and invoices
  • Monitor account status, identify cost-effective solutions, and authorize expenditures as applicable
  • Monitor or maintain budgets and grants and prepare expense reports and reimbursements as applicable
  • Plan and coordinate travel arrangements
  • Maintain databases and spreadsheets, analyze data, and generate associated reports as applicable
  • Establish and organize files and documents
  • Oversee ordering and maintenance of office supplies
  • Supervise or direct support staff and/or students as applicable

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalency of a high school diploma and five years of administrative experience
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Experience with collaboration tools such as OneDrive, Zoom, and Teams
  • Must be able to commute to Emory University on a flexible weekly schedule based on business needs
  • Residency in the state of Georgia required
