About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop new partnerships with clinical learning sites for nursing programs
  • Plan and attend clinical coordination forums, pre-clinical summit events, career fairs, student forums, planning meetings, and conferences
  • Conduct or assist with orientation of nursing students and faculty to clinical sites
  • Facilitate quarterly collaboration with facilities and nursing faculty to align clinical utilization with placement needs
  • Conduct site visits to clinical agencies to enhance partnerships and assess facilities
  • Facilitate evaluations of clinical instructors, sites, and preceptors
  • Coordinate student placements according to program requirements
  • Maintain lists of clinical instructors, sites, and preceptors by clinical specialty
  • Maintain and modify departmental databases, verifying credentials and compliance history
  • Collaborate with clinical partners to review and clear rotation requests
  • Oversee clinical affiliation agreements, including execution, renewals, fee addendums, and contract terms
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to execute affiliation agreements
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree and two years of experience in the institution of higher learning or healthcare field, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience
  • Must be able to commute to Emory University on a flexible weekly schedule based upon business needs
  • Residency in the state of Georgia required
  • Strong organization, communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities
