About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop and manage the School of Nursing's external website
- Develop written content including press releases, magazine and editorial writing, digital newsletters, email marketing, and related materials
- Consult with management and staff to design, develop, and maintain the website
- Develop, write, and edit correspondence, newsletters, brochures, and articles
- Develop and maintain methods for distributing communication materials and information
- Maintain required records and documentation
- Potentially train staff in communications technology
- Utilize social media to accomplish work objectives
- Perform related responsibilities as required
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in a related field and three years of related experience, or equivalent combination of experience, education, and training
- Drupal Content Management System experience preferred
- Must reside in the state of Georgia
- Must be able to commute to Emory University on a flexible weekly schedule based on business needs
- Ability to develop and maintain websites
- Ability to write and edit correspondence, newsletters, brochures, articles, press releases, magazine and editorial content, digital newsletters, and email marketing materials
- Ability to develop and maintain communication distribution methods
- Ability to maintain records and documentation
- Ability to use communications technology and potentially train staff
- Ability to utilize social media for work objectives
