About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide clinical patient care in radiation oncology
- Contribute to clinical trials, health services/outcomes/policy research, translational biology, and medical physics research
- Educate the next generation of cancer caregivers and researchers
- Participate in multidisciplinary cancer patient care
- Contribute to the department’s patient- and family-centered medical care mission
- Support residency education
- Execute cancer research and academic scholarship
Requirements
What you’ll need- Completed an accredited residency
- Board certified or in the process of becoming board certified through the American Board of Radiology
- History of academic scholarship and achievement
- Strong clinical background
- Strong interest in clinical care in an academic environment
- Commitment to residency education
- Commitment to multidisciplinary care of cancer patients
- Commitment to quality and equity of care delivery
