About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Organize, coordinate, and plan operational facets of the program and related activities
- Establish long-term operational objectives
- Research factors that may impact program success
- Work with individuals or groups to research and document program requirements
- Develop work plans to accomplish program goals and objectives
- Monitor progress toward program goals and objectives
- Conduct research and gather information for publications
- Develop promotional materials, reports, briefings, newsletters, grants, and other program-related written information
- Assist in developing and coordinating conferences, conventions, and meetings
- Monitor expenditures and participate in budget planning
- Prepare financial, operational, and statistical reports
- Assist in identifying funding resources and developing fundraising strategies and initiatives
- Conduct training and represent the program at meetings and conferences
- Network with affiliated groups
- May supervise assigned project staff, interns, and/or volunteers
- Perform related responsibilities as required
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in a field related to the program
- Two years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience
- Exceptional problem-solving, time management, organization, and customer-service skills
- Detail-oriented and able to meet deadlines while processing large volumes of data with a high rate of accuracy
- Ability to multitask in a busy and fast-paced office environment, prioritize effectively, and collaborate with a culturally diverse team
- Ability to work independently, develop work plans, monitor progress, and track projects to completion
- Ability to learn, understand, and interpret new rules and regulations
- Professionalism when interacting with faculty, staff, and residents/fellows
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to draft professional reports and summaries
- Ability to monitor expenditures related to assigned projects with minimal supervision
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office software and ability to learn other database software applications
- Residency in the state of Georgia
- Prior ACGME and GME experience/knowledge preferred
- Master's degree preferred
