About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support the acquisition, management, and analysis of data from multiple sites or sources
  • Support configuration and management of technology solutions for receiving, transforming, validating, and storing data
  • Ensure appropriate use of data through reports and queries
  • Serve as an organizational database consultant and provide expertise to assist users
  • Develop automated quality control procedures to assess data quality and report findings to data owners
  • Collaborate on data collection instrument design, database management, data analysis, and creation of reports and dashboards
  • Develop and perform appropriate analyses
  • Explain analysis methods and assumptions and assist with interpretation of results and implications
  • Document methods and results through data dictionaries, standard operating procedures, and analysis methodology descriptions
  • Coordinate consistent data quality control measures and access to central data repositories with onsite or field-based counterparts
  • Perform related responsibilities as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • A bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, and three years of experience in processes and standards related to data, OR an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
  • Experience with relational database management systems such as Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL preferred
  • Experience with statistical packages such as SAS, SPSS, R preferred
