About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Assist Emory photographers and media professionals with photo and video shoots, events, portraits, and other assignments
  • Capture photographs and video content for Emory projects, events, social media, and communications needs
  • Set up, organize, and maintain photography and video equipment
  • Edit and organize photographs using Adobe Lightroom or Photoshop
  • Edit video footage and create polished video content using Adobe Premiere Pro or similar tools
  • Organize footage, select clips, add music or graphics, and prepare videos for digital platforms
  • Select, prepare, and upload photo and video assets to Emory’s digital asset management system
  • Add and update photo and video metadata, including captions, keywords, dates, and locations
  • Help maintain an organized and searchable photo and video library
  • Support photography, videography, video editing, and digital media projects as needed

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Current Emory University student
  • Interest and experience in photography, videography, or multimedia production
  • Basic knowledge of digital cameras, photography, and video production
  • Familiarity with Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop, and Premiere Pro or similar tools is a plus
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Professional, reliable, creative, and willing to learn
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines
  • Portfolio submission required with application
