About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop new accounts and expand existing accounts within an established geographic territory and product line
- Service and support existing Emperion clients through weekly or biweekly in-person sales contacts
- Prospect for new clients among TPAs, insurance companies, self-insured employers, and attorneys
- Identify managed care needs and demonstrate how Emperion IME can meet those needs
- Attend industry conferences and events to generate business and revenue
- Submit an annual Branch Plan projecting growth revenue from existing accounts and new prospects
- Submit an updated territory Blueprint quarterly
- Update account Action Strategies every six months
- Grow and maintain a monthly pipeline based on measurable financial goals
- Participate in bi-monthly pipeline conference calls with the Director
- Complete daily spreadsheets highlighting sales and account activity
- Provide product and service presentations to existing accounts and prospects
- Achieve annually established quarterly goals for products and services
- Strategize sales territory planning and management with the Director
- Participate in completing and submitting RFPs
- Attend and present previous-year results and the upcoming-year plan at the annual Regional Meeting
- Monitor branch inventory against plan with the Branch Manager
- Direct leads for local, regional, or national attention
- Maintain current product knowledge
- Manage marketing expenses related to conferences, entertainment, travel, and promotional items
Requirements
What you’ll need- Must reside within the Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, and Arkansas territory
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred
- 3–5 years of experience in sales, business development, or account management
- Experience in healthcare, managed care, or related industries is a plus
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proven ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships
- Strategic mindset with the ability to identify market opportunities and drive growth
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities effectively
- Flexibility and adaptability in a changing market environment
- Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills
- Extensive jurisdictional knowledge of IME and Peer Review products
- Extensive travel may be expected and/or required
- Ability to attend industry conferences and events and travel throughout Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, and Arkansas
