About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Analyze manufacturing processes, production equipment, and methods for continuous improvement projects
  • Design, review and evaluate manufacturing processes of new and existing products
  • Conduct ergonomic assessments and improve productivity, manufacturability, and costs
  • Develop capital expenditure proposals and perform cost justifications for new equipment
  • Conduct operational studies to maximize workflow, material routing, and spatial utilization
  • Provide technical assistance and engineering support for process improvement
  • Perform root cause analysis and implement preventative and corrective actions
  • Conduct safety audits and assessments
  • Identify safety issues and work with management to resolve them
  • Ensure accepted corrective actions are implemented
  • Determine allocation of equipment and labor within physical and budget constraints
  • Represent Crystal positively with prospective and current suppliers and the community

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Must be a US Person (US Citizen, person granted US Permanent Resident Card or any individual who is granted status as a "protected person")
  • Pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in industrial engineering or related field
  • May require lifting up to 25 lbs
  • Ability to stand for extended periods during product testing
  • Must successfully complete a background check, physical assessment and drug screen
