About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Help coordinate the student internship program, including maintaining an activity calendar, tracking participation, and communicating schedules and expectations
  • Organize intern learning events and professional development activities
  • Coordinate speakers, meeting spaces, materials, and event logistics
  • Prepare and distribute internship communications, including invitations, reminders, program updates, and follow-up information
  • Develop and administer intern satisfaction surveys, summarize feedback, and recommend improvements
  • Gather ideas and feedback from fellow interns and share insights with the People & Culture team
  • Represent Crystal Group at community STEM events and engage students
  • Help organize a student volunteer day with community partners and internal stakeholders
  • Organize Employee Owned Brands company tours, including schedules, attendance, travel arrangements, and communications
  • Support recruiting and onboarding activities, including interview scheduling, candidate communication, onboarding materials, and welcoming new interns
  • Assist with People & Culture documentation, data entry, tracking, and employee communications
  • Observe and learn about employee-owner support, benefits, payroll, and other People & Culture processes
  • Complete an assigned project, establish milestones, provide progress updates, and present results and recommendations
  • Maintain confidentiality and deliver timely, professional communication to employee-owners, students, leaders, and community partners

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Must be a US Person (US Citizen, person granted US Permanent Resident Card, or any individual granted status as a “protected person”)
  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, communications, or a related field
  • Interest in People & Culture, student engagement, and program coordination
  • Previous internship, HR support, or administrative experience preferred
  • Experience coordinating events, student organizations, volunteer activities, or group projects preferred
  • Work primarily performed in a manufacturing environment with exposure to the manufacturing floor and testing environments
  • May require lifting up to 25 pounds and standing for extended periods of time
  • Must successfully complete a background check and drug screen
