About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Select key electronics technologies used in product and product-family development
- Act as intermediary between design and compliance engineering teams, customers, and sales
- Verify system components and technologies for performance, long life, and ruggedization for military markets
- Assist with systems engineering, benchmark testing, and requirements validation
- Maintain the Product Offering Technical Solution documenting the as-built system configuration
- Lead systems engineering work with mechanical and electrical engineers to complete projects
- Provide technical assistance and process input to Project Managers
- Lead Preliminary Design Reviews (PDR) and Critical Design Reviews (CDR), and manage related artifacts
- Support Manufacturing and senior engineering during normal operations
Requirements
What you’ll need- Must be a US Person (US Citizen, person granted US Permanent Resident Card or any individual who is granted status as a "protected person")
- Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field
- Understands technology trends for high-performance computing, networking, display, and system integration options
- Working knowledge of developing a computer server, integrating related technologies, and maximizing utility for customers
- Written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work with all levels of the organization
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs
- Must successfully complete a background check, physical assessment, and drug screen
