About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop and maintain the production schedule based on demand forecast, sales orders, and resource availability
- Analyze production and inventory data to optimize scheduling and reduce lead times
- Collaborate with sales, engineering, production, and procurement departments
- Monitor progress against the schedule, identify potential issues, and implement changes
- Conduct regular stakeholder meetings to communicate scheduling changes, updates, and delivery impacts
- Utilize scheduling software and tools to generate work, reports, and metrics
Requirements
What you’ll need- Must be a US Person (US Citizen, person granted US Permanent Resident Card or any individual who is granted status as a "protected person”)
- GED/High School Diploma
- Two years of planning, and/or MRP experience
- Knowledge of time management principles and ability to prioritize tasks effectively to meet deadlines
- Knowledge of inventory management practices, including accurate tracking, ordering, and stock control
- Attention to detail
- Organization and time management skills
- Ability to effectively communicate with internal customers
- Flexibility and adaptability in response to shifting priorities and changing circumstances
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Occasional lifting up to 25 lbs and standing for extended periods during product testing
- Successful completion of a background check and drug screen is required for job offers
