About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Chair the Material Review Board program and drive timely decisions on new suppliers, materials, and proposed changes
  • Coordinate planning, review, approval, documentation, system updates, and implementation of supplier and material changes
  • Liaise between R&D and Supply Chain for reformulation execution, BOM management, and new material requirements
  • Own reformulation projects from R&D handoff through production implementation
  • Own BOM creation, revisions, maintenance, and accuracy across the product portfolio
  • Lead future ERP material master data management and governance
  • Partner with IT, Quality, and Supply Chain to maintain clean, audit-ready material master data
  • Support product portfolio optimization and product rationalization decisions with Sales and Finance
  • Own cyclical product discontinuation planning and execution across cross-functional teams
  • Facilitate weekly and monthly S&OP discussions
  • Guide the Materials Management team during high-demand periods
  • Use Salesforce, Excel, Power BI, project management tools, and approved AI capabilities to analyze workflows, surface risks, and support lifecycle decisions

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5-7 years of relevant Supply Chain or Project Management experience, including significant responsibility for materials management, planning, or project execution required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, life sciences, a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience required
  • Experience managing material change control, reformulations, BOM management, or ERP/material master data governance within a regulated manufacturing or life sciences environment required
  • Strong expertise in change control, reformulations, BOM management, materials management, supply planning, portfolio optimization, and product discontinuation execution
  • Advanced project management skills
  • Skilled in Salesforce, Excel, Power BI, Jira or Smartsheet, and Office applications
  • Working knowledge of ERP systems and material master data structures
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • CSCP, CPIM, PMP, Lean/Six Sigma, or similar certification preferred
