About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Accurately enter complex prescription data into pharmacy systems using manual processes and AI tools.
- Review, verify, and validate prescription information against source documents.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies and inconsistencies in prescription data.
- Improve data-entry workflows to increase throughput, reduce cycle times, and support scalable operations.
- Maintain compliance with 503A/503B regulatory requirements and audit standards.
- Document actions accurately and maintain traceable records for audit readiness.
- Investigate data discrepancies with pharmacists and quality teams.
- Collaborate with pharmacy, quality, and operations teams to ensure seamless data flow.
- Adopt new technologies, processes, and regulatory updates.
- Identify automation opportunities and contribute to continuous improvement and data governance.
Requirements
What you’ll need- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree or relevant certification preferred.
- 1–3 years of data entry, pharmacy operations, or healthcare-related experience preferred.
- Experience working in regulated environments with exposure to compliance and quality standards.
- Familiarity with AI-enabled tools or automation technologies in operational workflows is a plus.
- Active Pharmacy Technician registration or ability to obtain per state requirements.
- Proficiency in pharmacy management systems, data entry platforms, and AI-enabled tools.
- Strong understanding of data integrity principles, regulatory compliance standards, and quality assurance practices.
- Advanced attention to detail and structured problem-solving ability.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
- Ability to perform the stated physical requirements, including prolonged stationary work, computer use, movement around the office/campus, standing, walking, reaching, climbing or balancing, and bending, kneeling, crouching, or crawling.
