About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide programme and project management expertise for data protection and identity management processes, policies, and services
  • Provide military and analytical subject matter expertise for NATO HR systems
  • Manage, deliver, coordinate, analyse, research, facilitate, and monitor DPIM process, policy, and service delivery
  • Support all NATO users of the HR systems as part of the NCIA APP032 Service
  • Provide business support for AMIS Identity Cards, including hardware, peripherals, and stock management
  • Provide overall support for Identity Management solutions

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Currently active NATO SECRET security clearance
  • Higher Secondary education and intermediate training in human resources management, social sciences, computer science, business administration, public administration, or a related discipline
  • 10+ years' experience in NATO, international, or national military settings
  • Accredited by the GET Group as an approved repairer for AMIS-specific Toppan CP500 printers and CL50H laminators
  • Accredited by the GET Group as an approved trainer of repairers for AMIS-specific Toppan CP500 printers and CL50H laminators
  • At least 10 years' experience in the last 15 years in a national military, NATO HQ/international organization, or similar civilian governmental organization in security/force protection or related positions, including at least one year in a management or supervisory role
  • At least 10 years' experience in the last 15 years working in a NATO, international, or national government organization with a mix of military and civilian members
  • At least 5 years' experience in the past 10 years operating and managing a large-scale (5000+ person) enterprise-wide identity card management system
  • At least 3 years' experience in the past 10 years creating Data and Information Security strategy documents using input from a wide range of disciplines
  • At least 1 year of experience in the past three years defining and/or applying data protection strategies for Personal Identification Information (PII)
  • At least 1 year of experience with EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)
  • Experience as programme and project manager with at least one medium to major project in the last 10 years
  • Experience identifying, planning, and coordinating related projects within a business-change programme
  • Experience maintaining a strategic view over project portfolios and communicating programme vision and benefits
  • Experience agreeing business requirements and translating requirements into operational plans
  • Experience determining, monitoring, and reviewing programme scope, costs, schedule, resources, interdependencies, and risks
  • Excellent English proficiency equivalent to or higher than NATO STANAG 6001 Level 3,3,3,3 (B2 across listening, speaking, reading, and writing)
