About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Capture and document the as-is and to-be NATO Intelligence System Architecture
- Develop an implementation roadmap for transitioning from the as-is to the to-be architecture
- Engage NCIA technical subject matter experts, project managers, enterprise architects, and key NATO Intelligence Enterprise stakeholders
- Develop high-level and detailed application, technical, business, data/information, security, and integration architecture models
- Identify technological synergies, gaps, opportunities, risks, dependencies, and implementation initiatives
- Conduct approximately 20 stakeholder interviews
- Deliver as-is and to-be Minimum Viable Architectures, gap analysis, high-level roadmap, reports, and architecture models
- Provide architecture expertise and support report generation
- Participate in regular progress meetings and maintain a shared deliverable/issues dashboard
- Work under the supervision of the NCIA project manager and lead architect
Requirements
What you’ll need- NATO Secret (NS) clearance valid for the duration of authorized access
- PSC at NS level for access to Class II areas at NATO facilities
- MSc degree in Computer Science, Software & Systems Engineering, or a similar area; exceptionally, lack of a university degree may be compensated by at least 6 years’ extensive and progressive expertise in related duties
- Minimum 5 years’ proven experience in enterprise/solution architecture delivery
- 4+ years of experience developing architectures for NATO and/or defence customers
- Experience using ArchiMate and Sparx Enterprise Architect
- Proven experience writing large, structured documents
- Proven ability to integrate and work in a multinational team
- Fluency in Business English
