Key responsibilities & impact

Coach four field managers, strengthen accountability, and develop teams that operate confidently and independently
Coordinate crews, vehicles, equipment, and scheduling across BC and Alberta
Meet field delivery commitments safely and reliably
Standardize processes, strengthen training, and reduce avoidable cost, delay, and rework
Partner with technology teams to pilot tools, train crews, and embed improvements into daily work
Manage the field budget, resource allocation, subcontractors, and delivery costs
Work with Engineering & Data, program leads, and account managers to anticipate demand and resolve risks early
Establish clear operating measures and deliver measurable improvements in safety, cost, utilisation, and reliability
Report to the COO and contribute to Encepta’s leadership group

What you’ll need

Substantial progressive operations experience, typically 15 years or more
Experience leading field operations through other managers
Experience in telecommunications, utilities, engineering, construction, geomatics or a similar technical services environment
Practical safety leadership around live infrastructure
Ownership of operating budgets, resources and delivery performance
Examples of improving processes and successfully introducing change
Record of developing managers and strengthening team capability
Relevant degree or equivalent experience
Comfortable with data and curious about technology
Willingness to spend time where the work happens
