About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Curate and sell bespoke programs and services for global and domestic sporting and cultural events
  • Develop proposals and manage corporate, UWHI, and VIP client accounts from initial contact through contracting and execution
  • Identify client hospitality requirements and design customized product and program solutions
  • Build and manage event budgets using Airtable and/or Microsoft Excel
  • Author, edit, design, and produce proposal materials
  • Manage contracting processes, including negotiations, escalations, and approvals/signatures
  • Support RFIs, RFPs, and responses to client briefings
  • Maintain client records in Salesforce and inventory management systems
  • Analyze post-event sales, expenses, payments, reconciliations, client reporting, and ledger allocations
  • Review post-event notes and client surveys to maintain brand quality standards
  • Assemble event objectives, deliverables, timelines, staffing needs, budgets, and implementation information
  • Take on-site roles delivering individual programs as requested by Platinum Operations
  • Manage team development, staff training, performance processes, and accountability
  • Develop and implement procedures, systems, and operational efficiencies
  • Participate in team, leadership, post-event, and process improvement meetings
  • Drive continuous quality improvement and a customer-first approach
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration, situation analysis, decision-making, and removal of roadblocks
  • Travel approximately 15–20% annually, including 1–2 months of continuous travel during rightsholder events

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality, Business Development, Account Management, or a related field, or equivalent experience required
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in a management position, preferably in a B2B role or within the travel and hospitality industry
  • Proficiency in Salesforce, Airtable, Keynote (Apple), and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Proven record of building and maintaining client relationships and managing complex corporate accounts
  • Experience with B2B, corporate groups, and/or high-touch guest services, experience execution and/or event operations
  • Understanding of the entertainment landscape, including sports, fashion, culinary, and other cultural verticals
  • Comfortable traveling and working within an international environment
  • Experience with international, Olympic, World Cup, Super Bowl and/or major sporting events as well as the Travel & Hospitality industry
  • Fluency in English, both oral and written, is required; fluency in other languages is a plus
  • Must be adaptable with work and travel schedule and available to travel for work, including extended work hours during nights, weekends, and holidays
