About the role

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or graduate degree program for the full duration of the internship
  • Preferably majoring in a STEM field such as Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Science, or Engineering
  • Rising Junior or Senior
  • Genuine interest in developing a career in the insurance industry
  • Strong analytical reasoning and quantitative skills
  • Intellectual curiosity and interest in Actuary
  • Successfully passed or be sitting for at least one CAS Exam is preferred
  • Willingness to learn and contribute to team projects
  • Ability to articulate ideas clearly through written and verbal communication
  • Solution-oriented mindset and data analytical skills
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and tech-savvy
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Local to the desired office location or able to arrange housing and transportation to support an in-office working arrangement during the internship
  • At least 18 years old
  • Authorized to work in the United States without restriction
