Key responsibilities & impact

Proactively manage complex Cyber, Media & Technology claims from inception through resolution
Analyze coverage, liability, and damages
Identify key exposures and claim trends impacting the portfolio
Provide written assessments to the SompoPro business unit
Respond to coverage questions and support problem resolution for the SompoPro underwriting team and senior management
Draft and contribute to Professional Lines policy language and related documentation
Represent the Company at client meetings, mediations, external meetings, industry events, and conferences
Participate in potential speaking or publishing opportunities
Collaborate with global claims colleagues, underwriting, and other functional groups on complex claims and strategic projects
Travel as needed

What you’ll need

JD required
Ideally a minimum of 8 years of Cyber, Media & Technology claims experience
Increasing responsibility at an insurance company and/or law firm
Proven experience directly handling primary and excess Cyber, Media & Technology claims
Strong ability to analyze coverage, liability, damages, exposures, and claims issues
Experience attending mediations, negotiating settlements, and drafting Professional Lines policy language
Ability to build strong working relationships with underwriting, actuarial, legal, and other business partners
Excellent communication, presentation, analytical, organizational, client service, and computer skills
MS Office experience
Claims systems experience
