About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop and execute Energy Vault's global talent strategy to support business growth and workforce needs
  • Partner with executive leaders on workforce planning, organizational capability, learning & development, and employee retention strategy
  • Develop and execute a companywide learning and development strategy
  • Identify key moments in the employee lifecycle that influence engagement and retention
  • Develop and lead employee retention strategy
  • Create frameworks for career opportunities and career paths
  • Design manager training in coaching, feedback, performance management, employee development, difficult conversations, inclusion, change leadership, and employee engagement
  • Establish measurement frameworks for learning, talent development, and retention
  • Lead global recruiting across North America, EMEA, and APAC
  • Oversee full-cycle recruitment and candidate and hiring manager experience
  • Build diverse talent pipelines and innovative sourcing strategies
  • Establish recruiting metrics and improve hiring outcomes
  • Strengthen employer brand and talent market presence
  • Partner with Marketing on career site content, social recruiting, and talent attraction campaigns
  • Monitor and improve presence on LinkedIn, Glassdoor, Indeed, and other talent platforms
  • Lead workforce planning initiatives and use talent analytics and market insights
  • Improve recruiting processes, systems, and vendor partnerships
  • Design and oversee onboarding programs
  • Partner with People Operations on development plans, mentoring, coaching, and learning opportunities
  • Support continuous learning, feedback, inclusion, accountability, and growth initiatives
  • Lead, coach, and develop the Talent Acquisition team
  • Foster accountability, collaboration, continuous improvement, and service excellence
  • Build scalable talent practices supporting global growth

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, Workforce Planning, or Human Resources
  • 5+ years leading global Talent Acquisition teams
  • Deep understanding of workforce planning, talent analytics, employer branding, and organizational effectiveness
  • Experience in early-stage companies and/or energy storage industry nice to have
  • Excellent communication, prioritization, sense of urgency, flexibility, and focus on data
  • Sound judgment and ability to recognize and protect confidential information
  • Ambition; an intrinsic motivation to learn, impress, and deliver with limited structure and guidance
  • Joy and fulfillment collaborating with and helping others
  • Willingness to travel domestically and/or internationally, up to 10%
  • Comfortable thriving in fast-paced, rapid growth environments
  • Must successfully pass a pre-employment background check
