About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead the maintenance team in achieving safety and environmental targets through the EOS MDI system
  • Lead EOS MDI, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement efforts
  • Investigate and implement sustainability improvements, particularly for electricity and natural gas usage
  • Lead TPM implementation and adherence
  • Support SMED activities to improve O.E.E.
  • Oversee the Maintenance Advancement program and develop team skills in mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, robotic, and PLC disciplines
  • Manage plant preventive maintenance programs, including coordination, scheduling, and completion verification
  • Maintain plant production and support equipment, including boilers, compressors, fuel, water, oil, and electrical systems
  • Manage lift equipment maintenance, including forklifts and hand trucks
  • Oversee building and grounds maintenance, including heating, cooling, and building integrity
  • Manage spare parts inventory, including identification, organization, storage, and replenishment
  • Direct hourly maintenance, building and grounds, and repair employees
  • Ensure adequate staffing and scheduling to support production and maintenance goals
  • Hold the departmental budget for maintenance labor, repairs, contracted services, MRO inventory, and critical spare parts

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution
  • Three to five years industrial maintenance experience working on progressively more responsible projects and assignments
  • Previous supervisory experience and/or demonstrated leadership ability required
  • Proficient computer skills, including ability to use MS Office
  • Ability to develop and analyze software applications and utilize software to meet department needs
  • Ability to wear required Personal Protective Equipment
  • Ability to work in a plant/warehouse environment with varying working conditions
  • Periodic blood tests are required to measure lead levels
