About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Oversee the maintenance team to ensure equipment reliability, production efficiency, and compliance with safety and quality standards
- Guide and support Maintenance Technicians in daily operations
- Participate in training and skill development
- Enforce regulations and promote safety awareness and proactive hazard prevention
- Maintain communication between maintenance, production, and management
- Provide advanced troubleshooting and technical guidance
- Lead root-cause analysis and implement cost-effective reliability and efficiency improvements
- Manage maintenance schedules and TPM programs to maximize uptime and resource utilization
- Maintain equipment and tools in good working condition
- Maintain 5S across the facility
- Model leadership, accountability, sound judgment, and ownership of results
Requirements
What you’ll need- High School Diploma or GED required
- Technical degree or certification preferred
- Proven leadership experience in a maintenance environment
- Proficiency with Allen Bradley PLCs, FactoryTalk PanelView, and Fanuc robotics required
- Minimum 5 years of maintenance experience
- Electrical troubleshooting using a voltmeter and meg-ohmmeter
- Welding (stick, TIG, MIG) and mechanical repair
- Ability to read schematics and work with PLC I/O and pneumatics
- Experience in a fast-paced, process-driven manufacturing environment preferred
- Strong communication, basic math, and documentation skills
- Forklift certification required
- PPE compliance required, including respirator, safety shoes, eyewear, and hearing protection
- Ability to bend, lift up to 50 lbs, stand, and use hand tools
- Willingness to work overtime, rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed
