About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage Production and Development Programs to achieve financial, delivery, and customer satisfaction objectives
  • Support pricing, contracting, and execution of production contracts
  • Initiate, plan, execute, and monitor project activities
  • Manage changes to project scope, cost, and schedule
  • Coordinate priorities and resources across multiple projects and programs
  • Prepare and update project plans and status reports
  • Provide management updates on customer and corporate issues
  • Participate in strategic business meetings across multiple customers
  • Coordinate cross-functional project meetings
  • Facilitate sessions to resolve issues
  • Use corporate processes to track proposals, contract negotiations, project schedules, and costs
  • Report status, develop project documentation, and implement lessons learned
  • Participate in project performance reviews and discussions
  • Participate in corporate business development activities
  • Update and maintain project production and quality metrics

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering, Business or closely related discipline, or equivalent level of demonstrated knowledge acquired through experience and/or other training
  • At least 2 years of experience in Engineering, Project Management, Government Contract Administration, or related environment
  • Ability to read, write, and understand English
  • Comfortable presenting to audiences up to 20 people, virtually or in person
  • Comfortable with general accounting principles and earned value management is preferable
  • Experienced and comfortable with M.S. Office and Project applications
  • PMP preferred
  • Excellent organizational and reporting skills
  • Reasoning and basic benefit/risk analysis
  • Ability to work under pressure to meet project deadlines
  • Excellent technical writing skills
  • Candidates for positions subject to ITAR requirements should be a “U.S. Person” under ITAR or otherwise comply with ITAR requirements for access rights
