About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Coordinate receipt, filing, and accuracy of shipping documents
  • Prepare shipping documents, including documents for out-of-country shipments
  • Ensure required documents are accurately completed and maintained in an orderly file
  • Complete entries accurately and on time in BAAN/SAP
  • Create plan shipment documents
  • Provide backup coverage for the Logistics Specialist and other department employees when assigned
  • Operate a lift truck
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High school diploma/GED from an accredited institution
  • At least 1 year of experience in an administrative support role and/or shipping/receiving position at a manufacturing facility or distribution center
  • Ability to use computer systems, including MRP and Microsoft Office
  • Ability to read and interpret documents in the local language, including safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
  • Ability to perform mathematical functions, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
  • Ability to interpret Pareto charts, bar graphs, flow charts, and other quality tools
  • Ability to operate a lift truck and have or be able to obtain a forklift truck license
  • Ability to pass the company’s driving requirements
  • Ability to obtain a specific driver’s license when required by certain company vehicles
