  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships through timely, efficient, and professional service
  • Communicate technical information clearly to customers
  • Advise customers on equipment operation, maintenance, and safety best practices
  • Conduct on-site customer training and knowledge-transfer sessions

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Technical degree or equivalent certification in a relevant field (e.g., electrical engineering, electronics technology)
  • 5+ years of proven experience as a Field Service Technician, demonstrating progressive responsibility and technical expertise in the battery and power systems industry
  • Demonstrated experience in leading and mentoring junior technicians
  • In-depth knowledge of battery technologies, including Lithium-ion, VRLA, and NiCd
  • Knowledge of UPS systems, power distribution equipment, and related systems
  • Advanced troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
  • Ability to interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals
  • Proficiency in using specialized tools and test equipment
  • Strong understanding of power electronics, control systems, and industrial communication protocols
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Willingness to travel extensively and work flexible hours as needed
  • Proven leadership skills and ability to motivate and guide others
  • Ability to differentiate colors
  • Ability to frequently bend, twist, reach, stoop, kneel, or crouch
