About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Prepare orders by processing requests and supply orders, pulling materials, packing boxes, and placing orders in the delivery area for pickup
- Coordinate with all departments to fulfill specific and ongoing inventory and shipping needs
- Maintain service quality by following organization standards and national shipping best practices
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment, including shelves, packing areas, workstations, and shipping supply areas
- Pack and ship items securely and effectively to minimize breakage
- Build and wrap pallets for secure shipment with freight carriers
- Fill customer orders accurately and promptly; pack sold items properly and ship them according to policy
