About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Prepare orders by processing requests and supply orders, pulling materials, packing boxes, and placing orders in the delivery area for pickup
  • Coordinate with all departments to fulfill specific and ongoing inventory and shipping needs
  • Maintain service quality by following organizational standards and national shipping best practices
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment, including shelves, packing areas, workstations, and shipping supply areas
  • Pack and ship items securely and effectively to minimize breakage
  • Build and wrap pallets for secure shipment with freight carriers
  • Fill customer orders accurately and on time; pack sold items properly and ship according to policy

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Experience using in-house and third-party TMS systems
  • Ability to build relationships with shipping companies to improve shipping methods
  • High school diploma/GED at minimum
  • Knowledge of distribution center operations
  • Strong analytical and math skills
  • Understanding of inventory management software
  • Preferred SAP experience
