About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage a commercial territory, supporting the sales team with market information, financial analyses, and performance indicators.
- Turn data into insights that drive decisions and business results.
- Liaise with the commercial team and support the areas involved in sales processes, helping identify unmet demand.
- Prepare statements, specialized reports, salesperson performance indicators, and market updates for corporate management.
- Conduct analyses and provide assessments of sales results and forecasts.
- Prepare information on the market, competition, trends, pricing, and margins to support management analyses and decision-making.
- Present analyses to managers, the general manager, and, in some cases, senior leadership.
- Monitor the achievement of targets related to variable compensation.
- Support the cascading of regional targets and the development of action plans.
- Analyze and approve the financial feasibility of mid-sized and large-scale negotiations.
- Implement and monitor regional price adjustments, analyze variances, obtain justifications, and assist with communication to field teams, coordinators, and sales representatives.
- Participate in monthly management meetings on results, sales strategy, and portfolio performance.
- Monitor major construction projects with regard to contracts, clauses, and schedules.
- Work with the Legal team on contract reviews and the legal protection of Votorantim Cimentos.
- Map and develop an in-depth understanding of competitors and territories.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Civil Engineering, Production Engineering, Economics, or a related field.
- Advanced Excel proficiency.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Knowledge of scenario modeling (preferred).
- Familiarity with SAP and Qlik Sense (preferred).
- Power BI (preferred).
