About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide account management and manage day-to-day service operations for DME programs
- Provide instruction for appropriate use and application of products
- Verify patient benefits using automation tools, including pre-authorization and/or upfront collection of patient responsibility
- Evaluate customer clinic needs and work with Sales and Field Service Teams to improve DME inventory program performance
- Travel within the designated territory
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels using inventory valuation methods
- Track orders and investigate problems
- Serve as a liaison between the customer, Enovis, and the Sales Team
- Adhere to Enovis Compliance and Ethics Programs, OIG and government healthcare regulations, clinic/hospital policies, and HIPAA
- Provide patient care in physician offices, hospitals, and/or clinics
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum of 4 years’ experience with direct patient care, preferably in an orthopedic, physical therapy, or athletic training environment, or related experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field
- Demonstrated patient care experience
- Experience dealing with multiple physicians in a high-volume clinic
- Demonstrated experience with the application of soft goods/functional bracing
- Previous experience with inventory management programs and/or EMRs
- Must satisfy third-party credentialing/screening requirements to gain access to hospital accounts
- Must possess a valid Driver’s License and current automobile insurance
- Holds and maintains applicable professional credentials, such as active Athletic Training licensure, Board of Certification (BOC), American Board for Certification (ABC) Certified Fitter-orthotics (CFo), Physical Therapy Certification (PTA), or related
- Experience with and knowledge of insurance reimbursement/DME billing requirements
- Must already have full-time work authorization in the United States, both now and in the future, without requiring sponsorship
- Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 60 pounds
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 10–90% of the time; overnight travel is not required
