About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Attend first cases with new agents, new doctors, lost doctors, or doctors at risk
  • Assist with surgeon sawbones or cadaver labs
  • Assist distributors and representatives with sales calls on all Foot & Ankle product lines
  • Staff trade shows and regional or local meetings
  • Act as a field liaison to the corporate office for marketing, R&D, operations, and customer service
  • Provide literature or materials to agents or representatives
  • Assist in scheduling, sourcing materials, and staffing labs
  • Provide product feedback or product complaints
  • Train and execute technical product sales
  • Pipeline, target, prospect, and execute in-field sales calls to drive revenue and growth
  • Support downstream strategic sales initiatives
  • Consult with surgeons in the operating room regarding foot and ankle solutions
  • Establish key customer relationships and drive growth across the US

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Must have prior orthopedic experience (Foot & Ankle highly preferred)
  • 3+ years’ experience in the operating room (preferred)
  • 5 years of quota-based sales experience (preferred)
  • Must possess a valid Driver’s License and current automobile insurance
  • Must already have full-time work authorization in the United States, both now and in the future, without requiring sponsorship
  • Prior experience within Foot & Ankle
  • Experience in healthcare industry or medical sales
  • Experience working with distributors
  • Knowledge of healthcare insurance and third-party reimbursement
  • Frequent travel availability, up to 75%
  • Ability to travel by car and air routinely, including overnight and out-of-town stays
  • Ability to work in the field with customers and Regional Sales Representatives for at least 60% of the work week
  • Weekend travel availability
