About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Define and lead the global enabling technology strategy across Enovis’s orthopedic portfolio
  • Establish portfolio priorities and prioritize new product introductions
  • Build long-range roadmaps integrating hardware, software, and data
  • Coordinate product and strategy implementation with Engineering, Marketing Communications, Compliance, Legal, Regulatory Affairs, Medical Education, Sales Training, and other cross-functional teams
  • Own the product lifecycle from concept through launch, scale, and optimization
  • Develop product requirements based on surgeon workflows, clinical outcomes, and economic value
  • Lead enabling technology initiatives across R&D, clinical, regulatory, operations, and commercial teams
  • Partner with R&D and engineering to deliver differentiated solutions on time and on budget
  • Ensure global scalability and launch readiness across product, training, supply chain, regulatory approval, and commercial deployment
  • Translate strategy into commercial value propositions for surgeons, hospitals, and ASCs
  • Drive global launch excellence, segmentation, pricing strategy, and adoption plans
  • Partner with sales leadership to accelerate implant utilization, penetration, and pull-through
  • Define and track KPIs including adoption rates, utilization, capital ROI, and procedural growth
  • Monitor competitive technologies and market trends, translating insights into product and positioning strategies
  • Support executive and investor narratives around enabling technology differentiation
  • Lead alignment across global R&D, marketing, clinical, regulatory, operations, and commercial teams
  • Drive data-based decision-making using financial modeling and strategic frameworks
  • Build and manage business cases covering revenue, NPV, and capital investment trade-offs
  • Optimize capital efficiency and ROI; support M&A and partnership evaluations
  • Develop relationships with global key opinion leaders and lead voice-of-customer initiatives
  • Translate surgeon needs into workflow-integrated solutions that improve confidence, efficiency, and outcomes
  • Travel and attend or coordinate trade shows, training programs, and related events as needed

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • BA/BS Degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field preferred
  • 8+ years related experience in successful marketing roles in the medical device industry
  • 5+ years orthopedic enabling technology experience
  • Proven experience launching and scaling complex capital equipment or technology platforms
  • Strong understanding of orthopedic procedures, ideally adult reconstruction
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams in a global environment
  • Experience with financial modeling (NPV, ROI, capital investment decisions)
  • Experience with robotics, navigation, AR/VR, or digital surgical technologies
  • Familiarity with ASC market dynamics and outpatient trends
  • Strong executive communication and storytelling capabilities
  • Ability to define long-term vision while executing near-term priorities
  • Deep understanding of surgical workflows and enabling technologies
  • Focus on adoption, utilization, and revenue impact
  • Data-driven decision-making with strong business case discipline
  • Ability to align and mobilize global teams

  • Ability to travel as reasonably requested to meet with and educate customers and salespeople; attend and coordinate trade shows, training programs, and related travel as needed or required
