Key responsibilities & impact

Design comprehensive technology solutions aligned with client business goals and technical requirements
Leverage expertise across cloud computing, storage, virtualization, server and mainframe technologies, operating systems, networking, business applications, and security infrastructure
Partner with sales teams and clients to identify needs, address solution gaps, and develop architectures using Ensono offerings
Recommend innovative technologies and approaches
Develop fully costed solution architectures
Maintain accurate customer solution documentation
Communicate recommendations through client presentations, collaborative discussions, and proposals
Organize and define work for complex or ambiguous situations
Provide consultation, training, and knowledge sharing to associates
Contribute to the domain body of knowledge
Create and maintain reference architecture for Ensono infrastructure solutions
Own infrastructure architecture for one or more client environments as the data center subject matter expert
Obtain infrastructure solution requirements from clients
Write infrastructure solution designs meeting or exceeding requirements
Act as technical subject matter expert during implementation and ensure adherence to the proposed design
Provide cost estimates for implementation and ongoing production support
Engage in client project communications using a consultative approach and recommend solutions to mitigate obstacles
Participate in the internal Architecture Review Board
Ensure designs fulfill functional and technical requirements and meet progress against SLAs
Maintain accuracy, process, integrity, quality, and stewardship of client infrastructure solutions

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
Typically requires a minimum of 10 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree; or 5 years and a Master's degree; or equivalent work experience
Extensive experience designing and implementing enterprise infrastructure, cloud, and hybrid solutions
Strong knowledge of enterprise architecture principles, solution design methodologies, and technology governance practices
Experience engaging with executive stakeholders and translating business objectives into technical strategies
Demonstrated ability to develop solution estimates, business cases, and technology roadmaps
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present to both technical and non-technical audiences
Experience leading complex technology initiatives across multiple disciplines and stakeholder groups
Preferred knowledge of ITILv3, ITSM, IBM/Power systems, server hardware, Unix, Microsoft technologies, Symantec, storage platforms, Brocade, VMware, monitoring tools, Cisco Nexus, Checkpoint, Bluecoat, and load balancers
