About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide financial decision support for assigned manufacturing plants and act as a key business partner to Plant Management in the Materials Solutions Division
  • Maintain plant cost accounting processes
  • Provide operational and cost accounting analysis supporting plant operations
  • Analyze, interpret, and communicate financial results with actionable recommendations
  • Support monthly and annual forecasting and budgeting
  • Align plant forecasts and budgets with Operational, Division, and Corporate goals
  • Support standard costing rates and update material costs, bills of materials, and routings for cost roll
  • Support and review proposed productivity projects
  • Review and explain manufacturing variances
  • Provide business and operations decision support through analysis
  • Provide timely plant results and drive accountability
  • Complete month-end close tasks and ensure plant financial statements comply with GAAP, including inventory valuations and reserves
  • Provide financial education, training, and guidance to non-finance employees
  • Partner with site, business unit, and division leadership on forecasts, budgets, results, risks, opportunities, and ad hoc analyses/modeling

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance with 3-5 years experience
  • Financial modeling and analysis experience
  • Cost accounting knowledge and experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
  • Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and internal control concepts
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Ability to work independently in a fast paced, dynamic global environment
  • Proficient SAP, Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Business Objects and/or SAP BPC a plus
  • Strong communication skills; ability to summarize and clearly communicate financial analysis to non-financial business partners
  • Open to travel to other Entegris sites
  • Demonstrated understanding of continuous improvement through identification, vetting, and tracking of improvement projects
  • Must not require Entegris immigration sponsorship now or in the future
