About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support the design, development, and delivery of complex, multifaceted national initiatives
  • Support planning and implementation of competitive grantee selection processes
  • Develop selection process materials and evaluation criteria
  • Manage input from funders, internal and external experts, communications, coordination, and scheduling
  • Support grantmaking and grants management, including award notifications, activity reporting, disbursements, and grant closeouts
  • Deliver adaptive programming and shared-learning activities for grantees, Enterprise staff, and others
  • Coordinate in-person and virtual convenings and industry convenings
  • Facilitate cross-functional support across Enterprise markets and divisions
  • Gather innovation-specific data and prepare summary reports and materials for funders, leadership, and stakeholders
  • Collaborate on media and communications opportunities to disseminate findings and affect industry change
  • Prepare and deliver public presentations and facilitate group conversations
  • Carry out additional responsibilities or projects as needed

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of four years of experience in community development, affordable housing, housing finance, public policy, real estate or related field
  • Graduate degree may be substituted for up to 2 years of experience
  • Demonstrated experience supporting or leading large-scale programs that include multiple components, including developing and scaling initiatives
  • Experience working with a diverse range of communities and people
  • Excellent critical thinking and creative problem-solving skills
  • Strong facilitation skills
  • Exemplary verbal, written, visual, and other communication skills
  • Ability to work independently, solve problems, and move tasks forward with minimal supervision
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to coordinate complex activities, prioritize conflicting demands, meet deadlines, and communicate effectively among widely dispersed partners
  • Experience working effectively in collaborative and virtual teams, including multidisciplinary colleagues and clients across multiple offices and geographies
  • Professionalism, composure, flexibility, and adaptability
