About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Collaborate on the development of an annual sales plan
  • Collaborate on the development of a marketing plan for the area of responsibility
  • Achieve sales targets consistently

  • Gain business from existing and prospective clients through consultative selling

  • Make telephone calls and in-person visits to identify, qualify and cultivate opportunities
  • Compare the organization’s products and services with competitors’ offerings
  • Collaborate with internal teams to meet client needs and expectations
  • Manage sales processes and project workflows to meet targets and corporate objectives
  • Research product developments, market conditions, competitive activities, advertising and promotional trends
  • Participate in trade shows and conventions, representing EA and promoting its products and services
  • Provide management with updates on client needs, problems, interests, competitive activities and potential new products and services
  • Report to the SVP, Sales Leader

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Post-secondary degree in Geography, Business or related field
  • 5+ years of sales or account management experience, preferably in data and analytics
  • Preference for experience in the Not-for-Profit or Energy industries
  • Expertise in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Facility with other software applications, including EA’s proprietary ENVISION product
  • Ability to research and synthesize complex or diverse information
  • Ability to make timely decisions and exercise sound judgment
  • Effective planning and organizational skills
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
  • Original thinking, creativity and resourcefulness
  • Clear verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal, rapport-building, diplomacy and conflict-resolution skills
  • Strong business acumen and client focus
  • Ability to create and deliver compelling presentations in person and via Teams
