About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Conduct fair, unbiased, prompt, and thorough workplace investigations according to company policies and processes
- Interpret and apply company policies and state and federal employment laws to assigned investigations
- Provide outcomes, recommendations, and guidance to business leaders with support from the Teammate Relations Advisor
- Support the Investigation Center of Excellence by sharing experience and best practices and participating in learning activities
- Provide stakeholders with timely updates, responses, and case closures
- Meet investigation key performance indicators, including quality and timeliness of closure
- Consult the Lead Workplace Investigator and notify Teammate Relations leadership of issues posing imminent risk
- Work cross-functionally with legal, compliance, communications, and other HR resources
- Record case information accurately and promptly in the system of record
- Draft case information for legal, including timelines and responses to EEOC and other filings
- Participate in process improvement efforts, system enhancements, and special projects
Requirements
What you’ll need- Ability to communicate and assert subject matter influence with leaders, including executives
- Ability to mentor, coach, and guide leaders on teammate relations issues
- Expert-level knowledge of company policies and teammate relations best practices
- Ability to solve complex problems and use independent judgment
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Track record of high-quality, accurate work under significant pressure
- Organization, time management, and presentation skills
- Commitment to confidentiality and compliance with privacy regulations
- Experience utilizing a case management platform
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, and Oracle
- Bachelor’s Degree from a four-year College or University and four or more years of progressive experience in employee relations or workplace investigations, or an equitable combination of education and experience
- Workplace Certification held or in progress
- Healthcare industry experience preferred
- Must meet employment eligibility requirements; Envision uses E-Verify for newly hired employees
