About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead the functional health, integrity, and strategic roadmap of Envista’s global Oracle E-Business Suite Manufacturing platform
- Manage internal and managed-service partner resources
- Serve as the lead functional expert for Oracle Manufacturing
- Partner with Operations and IT stakeholders to deliver scalable solutions and resolve complex production issues
- Lead solution design, configuration, testing, and rollout for enhancements, integrations, and upgrades
- Own manufacturing setup across operating units, inventory organizations, plants, legal entities, and regions
- Troubleshoot BOM, routings, WIP, costing, quality, inventory, and GL issues
- Manage BOMs, Engineering, ECOs, revision control, and engineering-to-manufacturing handoffs
- Support new product introduction and maintain accurate item, BOM, routing, and change data
- Manage routings, resources, work centers, WIP, MES for Discrete, Flow Manufacturing, outside processing, and custom shop-floor extensions
- Manage mobile manufacturing and quality applications, barcode workflows, and shop-floor data collection
- Manage manufacturing Cost Management, standard costs, variance analysis, WIP valuation, and Finance integration
- Manage Oracle Quality, traceability, UDI, MasterControl, labeling, FDA/GxP compliance, 21 CFR Part 11, and computer system validation
- Maintain integration maps, master data, operational reporting, shop-floor documents, dashboards, and environment controls
- Lead, mentor, and develop internal Oracle Manufacturing professionals
- Direct managed-service partner resources and own the Manufacturing domain relationship
- Define and maintain the Manufacturing IT roadmap
- Lead Manufacturing workstreams through the full SDLC and acquisition integrations
- Drive automation, reduced scrap and rework, fewer stuck jobs, faster production, and improved system experience
- Ensure SOX, ITGC, segregation-of-duties, audit, change-management, and approval requirements are met
- Partner with operations, engineering, quality, regulatory, supply chain, procurement, and Finance stakeholders
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Manufacturing, or Mechanical Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, Supply Chain, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 10+ years of hands-on Oracle EBS Manufacturing functional experience
- Deep, current configuration expertise across Bill of Materials, Engineering, Work in Process, Cost Management, and Quality
- Hands-on experience with discrete manufacturing (WIP and MES for Discrete) and Flow Manufacturing, including line design, kanban, and mixed-model production
- Depth in manufacturing Cost Management, including standard cost rollups and updates, resource and overhead rates, WIP valuation, variance analysis, and manufacturing accounting flows into sub-ledgers and GL
- Experience with BOM and Engineering change control, ECOs, revision control, effectivity, and engineering-to-manufacturing handoff
- Experience with Oracle Quality, including collection plans, specifications, data collection, and nonconformance integrated with WIP and the shop floor
- Experience with lot and serial control and full genealogy and traceability in a regulated production environment
- Experience with mobile shop-floor/barcode transactions for WIP and quality
- Experience with complex multi-org manufacturing in a large, multi-plant, multi-entity environment
- Working knowledge of outside processing/subcontract manufacturing and procurement and receiving handoffs
- Experience integrating Oracle Manufacturing with an external quality-management system and shop-floor/product labeling systems
- Experience in a regulated medical device or comparable manufacturing setting under FDA, GxP, 21 CFR Part 11, and computer system validation (IQ/OQ/PQ) requirements
- Experience in a global organization with operations across multiple regions and a high volume of legal entities
- Understanding of SOX, IT general controls, and segregation of duties
- Experience leading technical work across the full software delivery lifecycle
- Preferred: MasterControl or comparable QMS integration experience
- Preferred: Enterprise labeling platforms and UDI labeling/reporting
- Preferred: Oracle Manufacturing and PLM integration
- Preferred: ASCP or comparable supply/production planning integration
- Preferred: Configure-to-order or made-to-order flows and mixed discrete/flow production
- Preferred: Shop-floor data collection, machine/equipment integration, and OEE analytics
- Preferred: Site-specific WIP customizations and custom shop-floor extensions
- Preferred: Acquired-plant/product integration
- Preferred: Lean, Six Sigma, or APICS/CPIM background
- Preferred: Oracle EBS certification
