About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Learn how to scope UPS replacements, battery upgrades, bypass systems, repairs, and PM programs
- Conduct site visits, build proposals, and manage the sales pipeline
- Collaborate with Inside Sales, Contracting, Engineering, and Field Service teams
- Build long-term relationships across healthcare, industrial, municipal, and commercial markets
- Maintain disciplined follow-up, organization, and CRM accuracy
- Meet clients and visit sites throughout the territory
- Attend tradeshows and industry events
- Engage in revenue-producing activity
Requirements
What you’ll need- No UPS experience is required
- Coachable and eager to learn
- Organized and disciplined
- Comfortable in industrial environments
- Strong at communication and relationship building
- Driven to build a career in a high-growth industry
- Curious about technical systems, including electrical, mechanical, batteries, and generators
- Bonus experience: industrial or technical sales
- Bonus experience: generator, electrical, or HVAC industries
- Bonus experience: field service background in UPS, battery, testing, mechanical, or electrical
- Bonus experience: selling PM contracts or technical services
- Must be active in the territory through client meetings, site visits, tradeshows, industry events, and travel
