About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide exceptional customer service to business customers
  • Handle enquiries including billing and meter exchanges
  • Own the customer experience end to end and take responsibility for the customer journey
  • Engage with industry stakeholders and customers by phone and email
  • Solve customer problems by providing efficient and knowledgeable solutions
  • Develop and implement solutions to consistently improve the company
  • Attend discovery day at the Nottingham hub if invited
  • Complete initial 8-week training at the Nottingham hub
  • After training, work from either the Nottingham city centre hub or Leicester hub in Syston
  • Spend 2–3 days per week with the team in the hub under the flexible hybrid working model

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Previous customer service experience
  • Ability to think on your feet in a fast-paced environment
  • Good English skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to empathise with customers and go above and beyond to resolve problems
  • Excitement to solve complex problems
  • Drive to identify and implement change
  • Confidence in making important decisions
  • Basic DBS check for successful candidates
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Role is not sponsorable under the UKVI points-based system
  • Ability to work Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm
  • Training attendance at the Nottingham hub during the initial 8-week period
  • For part-time candidates, minimum availability of 30 hours per week; training is full-time at 37 hours
