About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Direct and supervise QC Technician activities, including scheduling work to meet daily and weekly milestones
  • Complete performance reviews, issue corrective actions, provide training, and approve timecards
  • Mentor and motivate team members to improve engagement and ensure productivity and quality metrics are met
  • Create and promote a respectful and positive work environment
  • Disseminate pertinent and timely information as the team communications hub
  • Maintain and improve team efficiency
  • Initiate and implement continuous improvement projects
  • Collaborate with manufacturing engineers and quality engineers to implement new processes
  • Perform hands-on QC Technician duties as needed
  • Own the team’s quality output as a key stakeholder in Eos’s quality program
  • Ensure clean and organized work environments and promptly resolve clutter or disorganization
  • Model professional behavior and enforce work rules and accountability
  • Measure and report performance metrics
  • Communicate production, quality, environmental, and safety issues to management

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience required
  • 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment with a focus in Quality
  • At least 2 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Ability to accurately read measuring devices, blueprints, product specifications, and test procedures
  • Knowledge and understanding of established quality policies, procedures, and instructions
  • Excellent understanding of component IQC and IPQC, with ability to teach proper techniques
  • Operation of laser and CMM equipment
  • High level of visual awareness
  • Strong knowledge of shop equipment, tools, and work safety
  • Ability to manage time, priorities, and schedules
  • Ability to motivate and influence people
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to make effective decisions expediently while maintaining high-quality standards
  • Ability to prioritize resources based on need
  • Good communication and organization skills
  • Solid skills and experience using Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to work second or third shift, weekends, extended hours, or occasional holidays as required
  • Ability to work in office and factory environments, including exposure to moving mechanical parts, vibration, vehicles, electrical current, temperature changes, chemicals, fumes, airborne particles, odors, dust, mists, gases, and loud noise
  • Ability to use required safety equipment and occasionally exert up to 50 pounds of force
