About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Establish and grow EPIC Health’s presence in Maryland
- Initially function in a Practice Manager capacity overseeing day-to-day operations of the Silver Spring practice
- Ensure efficient staffing, workflows, patient experience, scheduling, and operational processes
- Develop and implement processes supporting efficient, high-quality patient care
- Identify operational challenges and implement practical solutions
- Coordinate interdepartmental communication for seamless care delivery
- Establish scalable operational standards and best practices
- Transition into broader district-level oversight of multiple locations and teams as Maryland grows
- Mentor, train, and develop staff across various service lines
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and employee retention
- Build relationships with providers, clinical teams, and operational staff
- Oversee and improve Chronic Care Management, Value-Based Care, Remote Patient Monitoring, Pharmacy, Integrated Care, and Specialty Services processes
- Monitor practice performance and identify efficiency and quality improvements
- Support implementation of new programs, services, and initiatives
- Establish and maintain operational and financial goals for the Maryland market
- Develop and monitor key performance metrics
- Lead projects supporting operational performance and market growth
- Partner with leadership on expansion and continuous improvement
- Foster a patient-first mindset and resolve operational or service concerns
- Support day-to-day operations and work alongside staff during the Maryland launch
- Take ownership of challenges and help build solutions in a growing environment
Requirements
What you’ll need- At least 5 years in a healthcare leadership, practice management, clinic management, or healthcare operations role
- Experience overseeing day-to-day healthcare practice or clinic operations is strongly preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare administration, or a related field
- Comfortable navigating Electronic Health Records (EHR), Microsoft Office Suite, and other operational tools
- Comfortable working directly with staff and managing day-to-day operational needs
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills with the ability to connect with diverse audiences
- Proven ability to set goals, hold teams accountable, and drive measurable results
- Background checks are required for this role
