About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage a portfolio of accounts receivable for an assigned territory
  • Contact customers to obtain promises to pay and follow up on payment status
  • Determine reasons for non-payment and escalate when necessary
  • Liaise between customers and field sales and service to resolve disputes
  • Initiate credit memos as needed
  • Contact customers to resolve past due balances before release
  • Secure purchase orders from customers when required
  • Perform accounts receivable and collections reporting and analysis
  • Enter electronic invoicing for customer accounts
  • Reconcile accounts, provide backup detail, and submit tie-offs and refund requests
  • Review account status, obtain payment commitments, and document relevant information in internal account systems
