About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead end-to-end analysis and redesign of complex Quote-to-Cash processes
- Identify workflow gaps, unnecessary handoffs, rework, control weaknesses, and opportunities to improve efficiency, accuracy, and customer outcomes
- Partner with Billing, Collections, Accounting, Revenue, Order Management, and upstream Quote-to-Cash teams
- Address root causes and strengthen handoffs
- Improve billing accuracy, disputes, aging, accounts receivable health, and financial close
- Reengineer billing audit, validation, and comparison processes
- Design scalable future-state processes, workflows, controls, operating procedures, and governance
- Lead structured root-cause analysis for recurring operational issues and complex escalations
- Translate findings into corrective and preventive actions
- Collaborate with IT, PMO, Product, and business stakeholders to translate process requirements into system and automation solutions
- Validate future-state designs and support implementation and adoption
- Establish continuous improvement practices, process documentation, and change-management approaches
Requirements
What you’ll need- 8+ years’ experience in process engineering, business process improvement, Quote-to-Cash, operations transformation, finance operations, or related disciplines
- 3+ years’ specialized experience leading complex cross-functional process redesign or transformation initiatives
- Advanced knowledge of process engineering and continuous improvement methods, including process mapping, workflow optimization, root-cause analysis, capacity analysis, control design, and future-state process development
- Strong understanding of end-to-end Quote-to-Cash processes, including billing, accounts receivable, collections, disputes, order management, and revenue
- Understanding of financial and operational dependencies among Quote-to-Cash processes
- Ability to simplify complex processes, challenge established ways of working, distinguish process issues from system issues, and develop practical, scalable solutions
- Strong change leadership, facilitation, and cross-functional influence skills
- Ability to align operational, financial, and technical stakeholders without direct authority
- Experience partnering on ERP, Salesforce, CPQ, subscription billing, workflow automation, or other enterprise technology initiatives
- Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, Industrial Engineering, Business Process Management, or comparable process-improvement methodologies
- Experience in SaaS, technology, or complex global operations
- Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Business Administration, or another bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Business, Finance, Operations, or a related field, or equivalent experience
