About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Perform duties in accordance with company policies, procedures, and internal controls such as SOX
  • Design, implement, and maintain cloud-based data pipelines
  • Collaborate with data engineers and stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable, reliable data platform architectures
  • Evaluate and select cloud infrastructure and services for data storage, processing, and analytics
  • Implement data ingestion pipelines from disparate data sources
  • Ensure data quality, integrity, and timeliness
  • Design and optimize data lakes, data warehouses, and data marts
  • Implement data processing and transformation workflows using Azure Spark, Azure SQL Pools/data warehouses, and other cloud-native services

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 3+ years’ experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, DataOps, business intelligence engineering, or a related technical field
  • Strong SQL skills
  • Experience with data pipelines, data platforms, data warehouses, data lakes, or similar data environments
  • Experience gathering requirements from business stakeholders
  • Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to technical and nontechnical audiences
  • Strong analytical, strategic-thinking, and creative problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Hands-on Azure development beyond data pipelines is an advantage
  • Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Bicep, Terraform, or ARM is an advantage
  • Experience with CI/CD, Git-based source control workflows, and automated deployment of data assets is an advantage
  • Practical experience using AI coding assistants such as ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot/Codex is an advantage
  • Exposure to RAG, agentic workflows, vector databases, LangChain, or LangGraph is an advantage
  • Ability to build simple internal applications or APIs using Python or FastAPI is an advantage
