About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Build and ship user-facing TalentLMS mobile features using React Native and TypeScript
Own medium-sized features end to end, from problem understanding and estimation through implementation, testing, release, and production monitoring
Collaborate with Product and Design to turn ideas into effective user and codebase solutions
Investigate production issues, crashes, regressions, and performance problems
Write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests and validate work across iOS and Android
Manage app releases from store submission through rollout monitoring on the App Store and Google Play
Improve app performance, accessibility, stability, push notifications, deep links, and developer experience
Participate in code reviews and technical discussions, communicate blockers, and exchange feedback
Help shape engineering practices, tooling, and technical foundations
Share knowledge and support less experienced engineers

Requirements

What you’ll need

2+ years of professional software engineering experience
Strong JavaScript/TypeScript and React fundamentals
Solid understanding of component design, state, data flow, and modern frontend engineering practices
Experience with application state management such as Redux or similar approaches
Experience consuming and working with REST APIs
Experience writing automated tests and judgment about testing at each level
Experience with Git, pull requests, and code reviews
Familiarity with CI/CD and automated software delivery
Ability to break down technical work, make sensible trade-offs, and deliver with limited guidance
Ownership of shipped code and products, including production issues
Curiosity and continuous learning
Product mindset
Ability to give and receive constructive feedback and work effectively across disciplines
Comfort using AI-assisted development tools while validating output and retaining ownership of engineering decisions and code
React Native, Expo, native Swift/iOS or Kotlin/Android, offline-first applications, mobile accessibility, push notifications, and deep linking are nice to have
